Centre Manager (x1)
The Centre Manager is responsible
for the day-to-day running
of the service in association with the Management Committee.
Community Occupational
Therapist (x1)
The Community Occupational
Therapist is responsible for assessing patients in the community setting
and providing necessary equipment and care to improve independence
and quality of life.
Information Officer
(x1)
Provides information for
patients, carers and staff. Works with Occupational Therapists to
assess computer accessibility and computing skills either at Horizons
or in the patient's own home.
Receptionist (x3)
The reception staff are
the first point of contact when anyone enters the building or phones
up. Their main duties include checking patients/visitors in, making
or changing appointments, keeping files up to date, typing and all
other secretarial duties.
Senior Clerical Assistant
(x1)
Provides support for the
Horizons Team, which includes both Aberdeen City Council and NHS Grampian
staff. Also organises reception cover and the distribution of the
general office workload.
Social Care Manager
(x3)
Provides a range of services,
either at Horizons or on home visit, including counselling, advice
and assistance with financial issues and benefit entitlement. Responsible
for assessing an individual's or carer's need in relation to care
and support requirements. Once they have completed their episode of
care at Horizons, the Social Care Manager continues to be involved
with them.
